Smart ForTwo ED
Vehicle description
The Smart Fortwo is a car with a very strong cool factor. This cult vehicle is still nicely at home in cities. The length of the new model has remained unchanged – 2.70 metres. The car is extremely agile (a record small turning circle), has superior visibility (large windows) and is easy to drive (a higher seating position and even acceleration).

Starting the Vehicle
To start the vehicle, retrieve the key located in the glove compartment on the passenger side.
Ensure that the gear lever is in the "P" (Park) position. Press the brake pedal and turn the key all the way until you hear an audible warning sound (a beep).
Battery charge level
The lower indicator shows the battery charge level (0-100%).
When the battery charge drops to 20%, the vehicle will alert you with a long beep.
Steering Wheel and Mirror Adjustment
The steering wheel can be adjusted for height and reach. To adjust it, push down the lever located on the lower part of the steering column.
You can adjust the mirrors using the rotary knob on the driver's door. To adjust the left mirror, rotate the knob to the left and move it to set the desired position. The same process applies to the right mirror.
Driving Modes
To the left of the gear lever, you will find the ECO button. Press this button to turn ECO mode on or off.
ECO mode reduces battery consumption but limits the vehicle's top speed to 110 km/h.
Opening the Trunk
To open the upper part of the trunk, press the button in the center of the rear window, which will lift that section upwards.
For the lower part of the trunk, lift the handle located on the upper right side and then lower the trunk door.
Charging
To charge the vehicle, take the appropriate charging cable from the trunk. Manually open both flaps (external and internal) on the passenger side and connect one end of the cable to the vehicle and the other end to the charging station.
To stop charging, press the unlock button on the vehicle key. Disconnect the cable from the vehicle first, then from the charging station. After charging is complete, stow the cable in the trunk and close both charging flaps.
End of the Trip
When you have finished your trip, move the gear lever to "P" (Park) and apply the handbrake.
If you wish to keep the vehicle, take the key with you and lock the vehicle using the button on the key.
If you want to end the rental, return the key to its designated spot: insert the key fob/chip into the illuminated box in the glove compartment on the passenger side. The box is marked by an orange light for easy identification.
Finally, lock the vehicle through the Avant2Go app and follow the prompts to complete the rental process.
