Smart ForFour ED
Vehicle description
For the first time in the history of this model, the electric Smart has four seats. The fact that it is made in Slovenia makes it all the more important to us. The Forfour is 80cm longer than the Smart Fortwo, which means more space for luggage, and it also offers two additional seats. These can be folded very efficiently, allowing the Smart to accommodate even large travel suitcases.

Starting the vehicle
To start the vehicle, you need the vehicle key - it is located in the glove compartment on the passenger side.
Make sure the gear lever is in the "P" (Park) position. Hold the brake and turn the key all the way until you hear an audible warning (beep).
Battery charge level
The lower indicator shows the battery charge level (0-100%).
When the battery charge drops to 20%, the vehicle will alert you with a long beep.
Steering wheel and mirror adjustment
The steering wheel can be adjusted for height and reach - there is a lever on the lower part of the steering column that you push down.
The mirrors are adjusted using the rotary knob on the driver's door. To adjust the left mirror, rotate the knob to the left and then move the knob to adjust the position of the left mirror. The same applies to the right mirror.
Shifting gears
All our vehicles have an automatic transmission - to shift gears, simply hold the brake and move the gear lever to the desired position:
P (park) - used when you park, turn on or turn off the vehicle
R (reverse) - used for reversing
N (neutral) - used e.g. in a car wash
D (drive) - used for driving forward
Driving modes
To the left of the gear lever is the ECO button, which you press to turn ECO mode on/off.
ECO mode allows for lower battery consumption, but limits the vehicle's top speed to 110 km/h.
Charging
To charge the vehicle, take the appropriate cable from the trunk. Manually open both flaps (external and internal) on the passenger side of the vehicle and connect one end of the cable to the vehicle and the other end to the charging station.
To stop charging, press the vehicle unlock button on the physical key. Then unplug the cable from the vehicle, then from the charging station. After charging is complete, stow the cable in the trunk and close both charging flaps.
End of the Trip
When you complete your trip, shift the gear lever to "P" (Park) and engage the handbrake.
If you do not wish to end the rental yet, take the vehicle key with you and lock the vehicle using the button on the car key.
If you are ready to end the rental, please return the vehicle key to its designated spot. Insert the key fob/chip into the box located in the glove compartment on the passenger side. The key box is illuminated with an orange light to help you locate it.
Next, lock the vehicle using the Avant2Go app and follow the steps to complete the rental process.
